A Meaningful Opportunity to Serve Without Enlisting
CentralCare Inc. is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio — the U.S. Army’s flagship Level I Trauma Center and one of the nation’s most advanced military medical facilities.
This is a civilian contractor role (1099) supporting service members, veterans, and their families. No military service is required.

Your Role

- Contribute to a culture built on integrity, compassion, respect, and excellence.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time | PRN | 1099
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts (Full Time = 4 shifts per week)
- In House Call: 4 p.m. – 7 a.m. (2–4 shifts monthly)
- Contract Length: 1-year, renewable
- Compensation: Hourly (2025 increased rates)
- Malpractice: Provided (1M/3M occurrence)
- Credentialing: 45–60 days
What You’ll Bring
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Board Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology
- Active Texas medical license (licensing assistance available)
- Current DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
- Strong clinical anesthesia experience within hospital or surgical settings
- Commitment to excellence, professionalism, and patient safety
- (Bonus) Experience teaching or mentoring anesthesia residents
