This position is part of the Plant Engineering team that supports BAE Systems NHQ building in South Nashua:

• The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with maintenance of low, medium and high voltage power distribution
• Knowledge and experience with uninterruptible power supplies, automatic transfer switches and emergency/standby power generation systems
• Knowledge and experience with the installation and/or maintenance of fire alarm systems
• Installation of low-voltage electrical panels and circuitry
• Troubleshooting of electrical circuits, control panels and VFDs
• Collaborate with stakeholders - Ability to work with customers and stakeholders to provide quality services
• Internal team collaboration - Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment to achieve goals and objectives
• Monday-Thursday 4/10 schedule providing flexibility for work/life balance

Expectations:

• Participation in the site's off-hours on-call rotation
• Participation on the site's offensive Chemical Emergency Response Team (CERT)
• Participation in the site's snow removal team

Required Skills and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• NH Journeyman license or New Hampshire Master's Electrician license with at least 2-5 years in the trade
• Basic computer skills to maintain site reports, spreadsheets, preventive maintenance logs and operate within a computerized maintenance management system

Preferred Skills and Education

• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of uninterruptible power supplies, generators and automatic transfer switches
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and fixed oxygen monitoring systems
• Knowledge or experience with building automation systems
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, chillers and other building infrastructure systems
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
• Ability to get a secret clearance.
