What is an on call cleaner?

On call cleaners are cleaning professionals who are available to work on short notice, often outside of regular business hours. They are typically contacted when there is an urgent need for cleaning services, such as after an event, unexpected messes, or to cover for absent staff. On call cleaners may work for cleaning companies or as independent contractors and must be flexible with their schedules. Their duties can include general cleaning, sanitizing, and sometimes specialized tasks depending on the client's needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an on call cleaner?
