About the Opportunity

Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) is seeking a full-time, BC/BE General Urologist to join an established, collaborative urology practice in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is an excellent opportunity for a community-minded urologist who values work-life balance, a light call schedule, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a rural New England community.You will join a team consisting of an experienced urologist and a nurse practitioner, providing comprehensive urologic care to both adult and pediatric patients in a single-site, office-based practice with access to modern operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of urologic conditions including kidney stones, BPH, urinary incontinence, UTIs, and related disorders

  • Perform surgical procedures with comprehensive pre- and postoperative management

  • Provide inpatient hospital and emergency room consultations

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered, team-based environment

  • Participate in a light on-call rotation (~7 days/month)

  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive urology

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and state standards

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (required)

  • Completion of an accredited Urology Residency in the United States or Canada (required)

  • DEA License (required)

  • Active Vermont Medical License or willingness to obtain prior to start (required)

  • Clean malpractice history (required)

  • NPDB Self-Query Report within the last 30 days (required at time of presentation)

  • Minimum 1 year of post-residency experience (new graduates not eligible)
