MarinHealth ENT, Head & Neck Surgery | A UCSF Health Clinic
We are a long-established practice that has been providing comprehensive otolaryngology care to the community of Santa Rosa and greater Northern California for over 40 years. Our group joined the MarinHealth Medical Network in 2021 and consists of four otolaryngologists with two audiologists. It is the largest and longest-running otolaryngology group in coastal California between San Francisco and the Oregon border. We are a highly collaborative group, working together in the clinic and operative setting to optimize patient wellbeing, as well as physician satisfaction. Physicians generally operate 1-2 days per week and are in clinic 2-3 days per week. Physicians in our group are encouraged to pursue their sub-specialty interests, alongside serving the community's and practice's needs. Due to our patient volume, the practice is seeking an additional two surgeons. We have one office, and are located near downtown Santa Rosa, close to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, where we provide on-call consult services, as well as operate at both outpatient surgery centers and the inpatient hospital ORs.
The Position

• Full-time position with emphasis on growing the practice.
• Group call is shared equally among the physicians and would be 1:5.
• UCSF academic appointment or teaching opportunities are possibilities, if interested.
• Epic electronic health record is utilized in the practice, connecting us to local and regional academic hospitals.

The Position Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Board certified or eligible (with intent to become certified within 2 years) in otolaryngology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
• Strong philosophy of excellence in patient care and patient experience.
• Specialty niche welcomed but not required -all physicians provide comprehensive otolaryngology care.
• Spanish language skills a plus, but not necessary

Compensation & Benefits

• The starting salary for this position is $400,000 plus a productivity bonus, with anticipation of higher salary on reaching partnership.
• Guaranteed salary for 2 years (with a productivity bonus), with the option to move to partnership track in year 3, which would include the benefit of complete production-based income and option of 4-day per week clinical schedule.
• Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experiences and patient care schedules. Additional pay may be determined for candidates that exceed specific qualifications and requirements.
