What are bartenders?

Bartenders are professionals who prepare and serve drinks, typically alcoholic beverages, at bars, restaurants, clubs, and other venues. They mix cocktails, pour beer and wine, and often engage with customers to provide a welcoming experience. In addition to making drinks, bartenders may also manage bar inventory, maintain cleanliness, and handle cash or credit card transactions. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, bar tools, and inventory management is typically required. Outstanding customer service, multitasking, and communication skills help bartenders create a welcoming atmosphere and manage busy shifts. These skills ensure efficient service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.
