Job Summary

The Director of Product Marketing at Insulet Corporation will be responsible for driving the global adoption and lifecycle management of the Omnipod 5 system. This strategic leader will define and implement the marketing vision while overseeing cross-functional go-to-market execution to ensure commercial success across various markets. Key responsibilities include developing the Omnipod 5 marketing plan, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to enhance product positioning, and leading international launch efforts by aligning stakeholders on timelines and success metrics. The role involves managing a high-performing team of product marketers, addressing operational dependencies, and driving alignment on messaging across global markets.

The Director, Product Marketing -This role is accountable for the successful global adoption and lifecycle management of the Omnipod 5 system. The leader will define and drive the strategic vision, lead cross-functional global go-to-market execution, and ensure commercial success across markets. This individual will manage and develop three direct reports and play a key role in shaping the future of the franchise. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the VP, Omnipod 5 Wide Product Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Support the development of the Omnipod 5 Marketing plan in support of the 3-year operating plan.
  • Develop and maintain the Target Product Profile (TPP) to articulate product vision, value proposition and alignment on claims, differentiation, and pricing strategy.

Omnipod 5 Product Marketing

  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to inform product positioning and drive adoption.
  • Lead commercial functions through international launch execution, aligning stakeholders on timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Understand and address operational dependencies that impact launch success.
  • Lead team who manages the software releases, REM process and any current customer global communications.
  • Lead International PMM Team on strategic planning and execution of launch in new and existing countries.
  • Drive alignment on messaging and positioning across global markets.
  • Own and drive the global GTM strategy, ensuring cross-functional alignment across Regional Marketing, Market Access, Training, Customer Care, and Sales Ops.
  • Lead competitive intelligence positioning and market response and activation plans along with our regional Marketing teams.
  • Identify clinical evidence gaps and support the IEP process in establishing the right data roadmap to support robust marketing claims, indications and market access.
  • Own the GTM plan for new clinical data and publications, ensuring timely dissemination and integration into regional marketing and sales enablement.
  • Partner with Sales Training to embed product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation into training programs.
  • Lead the HCP learning pathway to build knowledge, trust and belief in the product.
  • Global end of life and portfolio planning.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop high-performing team of Product Marketers and cross-functional contributors.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, HCP marketing, or commercial strategy within healthcare, life sciences, medtech, diagnostics, or biopharma.
  • Proven success leading Product Marketing that drives adoption and revenue growth.
  • Experience partnering with Regional Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Product development teams in a regulated environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience in highgrowth or categorycreating environments.
