Description

The Promotions Ambassador is responsible for creating an exceptional visitor experience at AREA15. They serve as the first point of contact and embody AREA15's essence by delivering outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include promoting and selling AREA15 products and services, guiding visitors, achieving sales goals, and actively contributing to the site's narrative. They approach their role with creativity, including costume dressing, and place a strong emphasis on social media influence and local market awareness. Ultimately, their mission is to bring joy and delight to all AREA15 visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Management team daily to understand and convey marketing and sales messaging and initiatives.
  • Meet Sales Goals and KPIs established by Management on a weekly and monthly basis by performing various roles, such as Greeter/Floater, Promoter/Influencer, Hospitality Agent, and Street Team Member. The Promotions Ambassador should be flexible and capable of fulfilling any of these responsibilities as needed.
  • Play an integral role in the AREA15 narrative, guiding visitors in their journey throughout the space and facilitating discovery with a focus on upsell opportunities at AREA15's various retail and experience outlets.
  • Identify interests and understand customer needs and requirements, offering recommendations accordingly.
  • Introduce promotions and new products to customers by distributing brand product samples, brochures, flyers, etc., at various events and in support of on-site ticket sales at AREA15.
  • Operate the POS system and handle ticket transactions and credit card processing.
  • Promote and sell AREA15 Passes or Packages (e.g., Experience Passes, Galaxy Group Sales) and other special events as determined, on a daily basis.
  • Report on sales-related information, including interest levels, visitor trends, questions asked, samples/flyers distributed, and tickets and passes sold.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • A background in sales is required, with a preference for a performance background.
  • College-level education or related experience in brand marketing, communications, promotion, or sales preffered.
  • Exceptional skills in ticket sales.
  • Goal-oriented and able to meet provided sales goals.
  • Proficiency in sales, customer service, ticket inventory management, with the ability to drive sales goals and suggest adjustments to sales strategy and operations.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and proactive in visitor approach and engagement, both on and off the property.
  • Proficiency in relationship-building and storytelling, with a willingness to dress in costume and bring an out-of-the-box approach to surprise and delight visitors.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, excelling in verbal communication and in-person conversational skills.
  • Ability to understand visitor needs and interact effectively with different personality types.
  • Strong skills in listening, communication, presentation, and social interactions.
  • Capable of providing information on AREA15 and its experiences.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AREA15.
  • Willingness to act as a social media influencer, participate in promotional content for AREA15, and possess a strong social, local, and industry network in Las Vegas (or beyond), with knowledge of local market and visitation trends preferred.
  • Able to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Knowledge of Paychex & Ticketure is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a stimulating environment subject to varying levels of sound, crowds and smoke/haze.
