Job description

Description Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteers who are interested in supporting our Active Adult Program and Special Interest Programs. Volunteer responsibilities may include assisting with the setup, serving, and cleanup of our lunch program, as well as providing support for activities and programs designed for adults age 50 and older. Volunteer hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m

- 1:00 p.m. We also have opportunities for individuals interested in teaching or leading a Special Interest class and sharing their skills, knowledge, or hobbies with members of the community. This is a volunteer position and does not offer any compensation. Essential Duties Contact: Christi Hamm, 480-474-5067, chamm@apachejunctionaz.gov Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week, or as assigned Days of Work Week: Monday through Saturday Hours: Weekday evenings and Weekend days Age: 16 years of age and older Location: Various Parks and Recreation Facilities Minimum Qualifications Previous experience and knowledge of parks and recreation activities, and facilities. Volunteers eighteen (18) years of age or older who are accepted for the assignment will be required to successfully complete a criminal background report
