Title: Product Coach/Agile Coach

Location: Position can sit in either Parsippany, NJ 07054 or Alpharetta, Georgia 30005 (2 rounds, Video and In-person. Must be local to either Parsippany, NJ or Alpharetta, Georgia)

Candidates must come out of retail/ecommerce industry

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a product-centric culture. 
  • Guide teams in adopting product thinking and agile methodologies. 
  • Help teams connect OKR to individual work items to understand the value of priorities (UPS Golden Thread) 
  • Provide clear KPIs to measure product performance 
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members on best practices in product management. 
  • Coach teams on product lifecycles, including ideation to launch and continuous improvement. 
  • Guide teams to develop product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Coaching teams on how to conduct market research and collect user feedback to inform product strategies, priorities and feature definitions. 
  • Proficient in customer journey and Product Roadmaps. 
  • Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to drive product innovation. 
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations. 
  • Develop workshop materials, training materials and other supporting collateral as part of the core coaching team, in support of enterprise Product Adoption metrics 
  • Envision the SAFe implementation strategy customized for UPS, in collaboration with UPS LACE, Portfolio Leaders and existing Scaling Coaches
  • Execute on the Vision and Strategy through piloting Agile Release Train(s) and follow up with additional ARTs and Solution Trains across portfolios
  • Conduct Executive (Business and Technology) level workshops to push the top-down agile transformation agenda and carve out a Leadership level training and coaching program to enable top-down adoption
  • Create the roadmap and initial constructs to move portfolios toward Lean Portfolio Management that feeds ARTs and Solution Trains aligned with the UPS Wildly Important strategic themes
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping identification workshop and help Business and Technology leaders understand the role Value Streams play in the core implementation of ARTs and Solution Trains
  • Scaling program design, implementation, and communication
  • Deep dive in Scaled Agile methodology primarily focused on Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Coach, mentor and conduct PI Planning and execution of Agile Release Trains (ART)
  • Coach and mentor the personnel playing the role of Product Manager, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master and Team Member
  • Design value streams and initiate release trains.

 

Mandatory Skills: PI Planning, PI execution, Coordination with Scrum master, Knowledge to conduct all the Scaled Agile ceremonies best practice
