Primary Function:The OJT/TWE Participant is a temporary, training-focused position designed to provide exposure to a variety of workplace tasks in preparation for competitive employment. Assignments will vary based on placement and may include activities similar to retail, donation processing, customer service, or other operational roles. The participant reports to their case manager for program oversight and receives day-to-day training and supervision from the onsite leader/manager. This position directly supports Goodwill's mission by participating in hands-on, work-based learning experiences that build skills, work habits, and confidence. Training placements help participants prepare for long-term employment and self-sufficiency.
Essential Functions:- Participate in hands-on training related to customer service, donation processing, sales floor stocking, cleaning, sorting, or similar operational tasks
- Follow instructions and demonstrate willingness to learn new skills
- Practice safe work habits and follow all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with staff and customers in a professional manner
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area
- Attend scheduled trainings, workshops, or meetings as directed
- Follow all Goodwill policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned that are appropriate for training goals

Participants may be exposed to weather conditions, noise, dust, or other elements typical of the worksite
