Responsibilities
In this role, you will use your technical expertise and customer service skills to:
  • Diagnose issues and perform repairs on a variety of oil boilers and burner equipment.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving concerns to ensure satisfaction and build long-term loyalty.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and cleanings on oil burner systems to ensure peak operating efficiency and safety.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and address immediate safety concerns.
  • Install and maintain pumps, hoses, and nozzles for "on-site" skid tanks, as well as Roth and Granby heating oil tanks installed outdoors or in basements.
  • Accurately complete all job-related documentation, including daily time logs, work progress, and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatch and Service Departments.
  • Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with customers and coworkers.
Qualifications
  • HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Oil and propane technician: Minimum 2 years required
  • EPA Type II (Preferred)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
