Job description

ROLE STATEMENT: The Transport Driver will be a member of the Field Operations department responsible for safely transporting materials such as sand, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and hazardous materials to and from site. Reporting to the Field Manager, the Transport Driver will focus on adhering to Calfrac Well Services operational, safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Provide effective communication with management in the District regarding operations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Able to participate in the development of policies and procedures to meet operational service line requirements
  • Work with all business units to ensure a trouble free operation
  • Manage employee and equipment assignments and schedules to meet customer requirements to achieve corporate mandate of "Service First".
  • Ensure adherence to operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives.
  • Operating a sand truck, pneumatic air can and belly dump conveying belt trailers
  • Spotting bulkers, hauling sand, Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide
  • Physical labor required on site when completing Fracturing and Coiled Tubing jobs
  • Assist in completing all maintenance inspections
  • Perform maintenance on units
  • Ensure all repairs are completed and documented
  • Understand and exercise relevant HSE work procedures and practices for the job
  • Follow and obey all CWS and regulatory driving rules
  • Ensure adherence to operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives
  • Identify and raise hazard ID reports when unsafe practices or conditions are observed
  • Participation in mentorship driving program
  • Yard duties and shop work as required

  • Must be mechanically inclined

SCHEDULE:
  • Fourteen (14) days on Seven (7) days off
  • Rotate from Days to Nights after days off

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
  • 3+ years' experience operating Commercial vehicles
  • Oilfield driving experience an asset
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule
