Job description

SVS Group is currently hiring immediately for an Outdoor Metal Foundry in Tempe, AZ. Must be flexible to work 3rd shift (overnights).  Shifts start anywhere between 10:00 pm to 1:00 am and are 8-10 hour shifts. Must be flexible as hours can change depending on Production needs.  Must be able to work overtime.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Melting Metal
  • Building Molds to make tools from the melted metal
  • Grind down the metal and Deburr
  • Working outdoors in the heat
  • A lot of heavy lifting, shoveling, sweeping, grinding.


Requirements:

  • You must have experience working outdoors - People from the construction industry tend to do well here. We also hire landscapers, roofers, miners, people from the oil rigs, basically anyone that has a lot of experience working outdoors.
  • You must be ok working outside. This client melts metal so it will even be hotter at this foundry than the temperature outside
  • You must not mind getting dirty or working very hard. It is labor intensive
  • You must be ok with heavy lifting - Up to 50 pounds
  • You must be open to 3rd shift 
  • They operate Monday - Saturday and when they are busy the overtime on Saturday is mandatory. They don't always work Saturday though.
  • You must take direction well and you must get along well with others
  • You must have fantastic attendance and punctuality
