Job description

Local Class A or B Hazmat Driver (Night Shift) - 100% Paid Benefits & Employee-Owned!
Location: Concord, CA
Route Type: Local / Wet-Hose Fuel Delivery (Home Daily)
Stop just driving for a company. Start driving for your company. At Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. (PSPI), you aren't just a driver-you're an owner. We are a 100% Employee-Owned company, which means every safely driven mile and satisfied customer helps build your own long-term wealth.
Since starting with a single fuel truck in Pleasant Hill back in 2001, we've grown into a premier on-site fueling provider for California and Reno. We did that by delivering unparalleled customer service and giving a real voice to our team members. If you're looking for a permanent home where you are respected, invested in, and taken care of, you've found it.
The Schedule (Built for the Night Owl):
  • Dedicated Night Shift
  • Why this shift rocks: Say goodbye to gridlock, road rage, and daytime delays. Working the night shift means wide-open roads, empty job sites that make maneuvering a rig a breeze, and unparalleled independence. Plus, doing physical wet-hose work in the cool night air beats the daytime heat! If you love maximum autonomy and owning the night, this is your perfect route.

Your Unbeatable Total Rewards Package: We know your hourly rate is only part of the equation. Our benefits package is designed to keep more of your hard-earned money in your pocket:
  • Zero-Cost Healthcare: 100% Company-Paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance for employees. (Think about how much you'll save on premium deductions each month!)
  • Be an Owner: 100% Employee Owned & Operated. You build equity in the company just by doing your job.
  • Retirement Ready: 401(k) with an automatic 3% company contribution after your first 6 months.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and you are home daily.
  • Extra Perks: Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Voluntary Benefits available (Short-Term/Long-Term Disability, Accident Plan).

What You'll Be Doing: As a Wet-Hose Fuel Delivery Driver, you are the trusted face of PSPI, providing specialized fuel delivery (diesel, unleaded, propane) directly to customer locations while the rest of the city sleeps.
  • Prep the region for tomorrow: Safely execute wet-hose fueling for heavy equipment and generators on-site so they are fueled and ready to go for the morning crews.
  • Command your rig: Operate our semi-trucks safely in compliance with all DOT, state, and federal transportation laws.
  • Own the process: Manage your delivery documentation (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and provide elite customer service.
  • Fleet Care: Facilitate routine service checks on your truck (oil, water, air) and partner with our Shop Supervisor to keep your equipment in peak condition.
  • Team Player: Perform other related duties as assigned to help the team win.

What You Need to Get Behind the Wheel:
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Required Endorsements: Hazardous Materials (Hazmat), Tanker, and Air Brakes.
  • A clean DMV driving record.
  • Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform the active duties of wet-hose delivery.
  • Ability to read general street and city maps to navigate routes efficiently.
  • TWIC Card (Must have currently or be able to obtain within 3 months of employment-we can help guide you!).

Ready to trade traffic jams for wide-open roads? Apply today and let's get you behind the wheel as an owner at PSPI!
Direct applicants only. We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters, staffing agencies, or search firms. Any unsolicited resumes, including those submitted to hiring managers or our general careers email, will be considered the property of Pacific States Petroleum Inc. Submission of an unsolicited resume does not create a formal relationship and will not obligate Pacific States Petroleum Inc. to pay any fee should we hire the candidate.
