Job Description:

About Your New Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mine Operations, the Miner is responsible for a range of underground operational activities, including general pump maintenance, installing fans and ventilation systems, and installing air and water piping. The role also involves operating scoops, installing ground support, and conducting drilling and blasting activities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate 2 boom / 1 boom Jumbo

  • Operate Mechanized bolters

  • Install ground support using Jackleg / Stopers

  • Load and blast Development Rounds

  • Installing services

  • Operate scoops

  • Any other duties as assigned by the department

Your Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Positive and proactive attitude towards safety.

Your Education and Experience:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Five (5) years experience in an underground environment.

  • Construction experience preferably underground.

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 12-hour days with possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion. You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
