This job requires knowledge of maritime operations, strong teamwork, and compliance with safety protocols.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an oil rig crew boat?

To thrive as an Oil Rig Crew Boat crew member, you need strong maritime skills, knowledge of vessel operations, and relevant qualifications such as an STCW certification or a valid Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC). Familiarity with navigational equipment, radio communication systems, and emergency response protocols is essential for daily operations. Excellent teamwork, clear communication, and adaptability to changing conditions are vital soft skills in this role.
