Assists in Deburr, Assembly, Shipping or Production Control (forklift, inventory duties)

May assist Machinists as needed with setups/break-downs. Performs various inspections (crane, etc.) as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS One year experience working in a shop/production type environment General mechanical ability Prior experience operating a forklift (sit down) preferred or the ability to become forklift certified

Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, power tools, etc. Must be able to work overtime and weekends on a regular basis Must be able to communicate effectively and understand instructions Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines Must be flexible and adaptable with regard to changing priorities and assignments Must be highly safety conscious and work with safety as the number one priority WORK ENVIRONMENT Shop floor environment with noise (under 80 db), dirt, oil and grease. Walking surfaces may be slippery and slip-resistant shoes are required.

Exposure to air-borne oil/coolant mist and mildly hazardous chemicals. Position requires individual to be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., to climb in or on large machined parts and/or over or on large CNC machines.
