As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers requiring solutions for maintenance, repair, shutdowns, and new construction projects. You will work closely with customers to understand their applications, recommend appropriate products, prepare quotations, process orders, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from inquiry through delivery.
Success in this role comes from combining strong technical product knowledge with outstanding customer service, urgency, and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities
  • Engage customers to understand equipment issues and recommend the most effective solution.
  • Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and application requirements to identify suitable materials and configurations and recommend appropriate products.
Drive Sales & Customer Relationships
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow business through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Respond quickly to quotation requests, technical inquiries, pricing requests, and order updates.
  • Become a trusted advisor by providing knowledgeable recommendations that improve equipment reliability and reduce customer downtime.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations and identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
Coordinate Orders & Customer Support
  • Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders efficiently.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure products are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Maintain detailed customer activity and follow-up information within the CRM system.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Inside Sales experience within industrial distribution.
  • Proven ability to understand customer applications and recommend technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems along with Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Background
  • Experience supporting customers in oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, power generation, manufacturing, water treatment, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer documentation.
  • Previous experience selling custom or engineered solutions would be considered a strong asset.
