Commercial Gas Engineer - Kent / Maidstone / Isle of Sheppey

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a rapidly growing specialist HVAC hire business. This is a field-based role covering Kent and the surrounding 20-mile area, working on a range of temporary commercial heating and cooling systems for commercial and industrial clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault finding of temporary commercial boilers, burners, chilled water systems and air-cooled chillers. The role will also involve modifying existing pipework within plant rooms, responding to breakdowns and supporting customers with emergency temperature control solutions.
Working alongside an experienced engineering team, you will benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities, with clear prospects for progression as the business continues its impressive growth.

Key Requirements:

Commercial Gas Safe qualifications
Full UK driving licence
Experience with commercial boiler rooms and heating systems
Knowledge of commercial mechanical pipework and LTHW systems
Experience working with natural gas and oil-fired equipment
Chilled water systems and AHU experience
Air-cooled chiller fault-finding experience
Understanding of electrical services and control wiring
BMS experience advantageous
F-Gas qualification beneficial but not essential

Basic Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Travel Time: Paid door-to-door when working on customer sites

On-Call: Additional standby payments and call-out payments available
