POSITION SUMMARY: The Mobile Service + Technician is primarily responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and light repairs at off-site customer locations using a designated mobile service vehicle. This position supports Ressler Motors' service operations by delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality workmanship while maintaining professional conduct and adherence to all company policies, and maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Perform routine maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, battery tests/replacements, wiper installations, air/cabin filter replacements, fluid top-offs, and multi-point inspections.

Complete basic diagnostic checks and identify minor mechanical issues for follow-up recommendations.

Document all repair and maintenance activities accurately in dealership systems.

Maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment, and mobile service resources.

Safely operate the Mobile Service+ vehicle following all company, manufacturer, and regulatory guidelines.

Maintain vehicle organization, cleanliness, and readiness, including restocking supplies and ensuring equipment functionality.

Adhere to daily schedules, service routes, and operational procedures.

Follow all safety guidelines and report any equipment, vehicle, or environmental concerns to management.

Provide professional, courteous service at customer locations while representing Ressler Motors.

Explain completed services, inspection findings, and recommended maintenance clearly and accurately.

Uphold company standards for communication, conduct, and customer experience.

Document all service and installation actions performed by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. All complaint, cause, and correction must properly and informatively completed on all repair orders. Follow all proper published time guides. 

Updates job knowledge by participating in training and education opportunities.

Ensure Mobile + van is organized and cleaned daily.

Complete assigned mobile service appointments safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and dealership quality standards.

Work as a Light Line Technician on site as needed. 

Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.

Protect company property, including tools, equipment, vehicles, and customer assets.

Maintain compliance with all Ressler Motors policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Contribute positively to the success and improvement of the Mobile Service+ program.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Prior automotive technician and dealership experience.

Working knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to work independently in varying outdoor and field conditions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred.
