Job description

Job Summary:
As a Technician at Jiffy Lube - Roselle - Store #235, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. This is a Full Time, hourly position that reports to the Store Manager. Located in Roselle, Illinois, this individual contributor role offers a competitive compensation of $14.5 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs.
- Diagnose and repair engine, brake, and electrical systems as needed.
- Complete services in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate with customers to explain services and recommended maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines.
- Accurately document services performed and maintain accurate records of parts and inventory.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- ASE certification or willingness to obtain preferred.
- Must have own tools.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
