Job description

Field Technician – Oil & Gas

Location: Bryan, TX 77808 | Travel throughout Texas and Oklahoma
Pay: $17.00/hr starting pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, but hours will vary based on the work schedule


Job Overview

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Field Technician with experience in the oil and gas or manufacturing industry. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with physical labor, flexible work hours, and traveling to different job sites.

The Field Technician will work both at the yard/warehouse and at job sites. Training will be provided for the position, but candidates should have a strong willingness to learn and be comfortable with the physical demands and work environment associated with oil field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Blend and mix products for jobs at the warehouse/yard
  • Deliver products to designated job sites
  • Run jobs at various field locations
  • Work at job sites for multiple days at a time when required
  • Work flexible and varying hours based on job schedules
  • Travel to different locations for assignments
  • Perform physically demanding work associated with field operations
  • Follow job requirements and schedules while working in the field

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean MVR
  • Experience with physical labor and the work hours associated with oil field operations
  • Experience in the oil and gas or manufacturing industry
  • Willingness to learn and receive training
  • Ability to work flexible and varying hours
  • Ability to travel to different job locations
  • Ability to be away from home for multiple days at a time
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the position


Preferred Qualification

  • Valid Class A CDL — preferred, but not required

Travel & Schedule

This position requires significant flexibility with scheduling and travel. Jobs are primarily located in:

  • San Antonio
  • Bryan/College Station
  • Midland
  • Oklahoma

Occasional out-of-state travel may be required. Some assignments may require employees to be away from home for several days at a time. Days off will be provided accordingly following extended field assignments.

Hotel and transportation costs are covered for qualifying work-related travel.
