Who is Blarney Castle Oil Co.? Blarney Castle Oil Co. is the heart of retail Convenience Store operations in Michigan, as well as the Midwest's largest petroleum distributor! We're family-owned, and have grown up in Michigan since our founding in 1933. Today we're delighted to have over 1,800 experienced and fun team members across the state, each impacting and helping to drive our business forward.
Role Responsibilities: Your role as a transport driver is crucial to our business! You are delivering an essential product to company and Blarney Castle customer locations, while helping build and maintain our customer relationships. As a transport driver, our service areas are local in nature within a 100 mile radius, with local dispatchers planning your routes. Our business is Michigan based, which means no OTR driving and sleeping at home. Please be comfortable communicating clearly and professionaly. A focus on small details and directions will be key, since ensuring accurate electronic log records and driver sheets will be a daily task. Keeping safety a focus under Federal and State DOT Regulations will be crucial to the safety of yourself and others. You'll want to take pride in your vehicle by maintaining its basic needs and performing pre-and-post trip inspections. The majority of our fleet is equipped with 13 speed manual transmissions.
Class A Commercial Driver's License, Air Brake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are required, along with at least 2 years of experience operating heavy haul equipment.
