Job description

Bowser Hyundai of Chippewa is seeking a full time Oil Changer to be responsible for oil changes and routine inspection checks of vehicles brought in for service maintenance. Service should be quick, efficient, thorough and safe with careful attention to offering the best customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform all lubrication services.
  • Perform thorough multi-point check of customer's car (i.e. battery, lights, tires, fluids), referring all needed repairs and preventative maintenance to Service Advisor.
  • Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
  • Complete repair orders received from either the Dispatcher or the Service Advisor
  • Lubricate entire car while looking for other items which may need repair.
  • Assist Service Manager and Service Advisors in dealing with customers.
  • Ensure that the customer's car is kept clean.
  • Make certain all equipment is in proper working order
  • Comply with Bowser safety policies and procedures.

Education and Qualifications:
  • High School/GED
  • Technical school preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid drivers' license and good driving record
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate good judgment

Physical Requirements:
  • Standing/bending/walking approximately 8 hours/day.
  • Ability to lift no more than 80 lbs. at a time.
