Job description

An Oil Burner Technician specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of oil burner and hot water heating systems predominantly in residential and multi-family homes. Working within a service team, this role involves troubleshooting and testing equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance. The technician performs equipment calibration, parts replacement, and maintains accurate service records, responding promptly to emergency heating system issues. Local travel to client locations is a routine aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain oil burner and hot water heating systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair heating equipment to ensure efficient operation
  • Conduct safety inspections and compliance testing on heating systems
  • Calibrate equipment and replace faulty parts as needed
