At Recovery Cleaners, we help families recover after fire, water, and mold losses by restoring clothing, bedding, rugs, shoes, and other personal textiles. For over 30 years, we’ve built our reputation on compassion, professionalism, and doing things the right way.


As a Restoration Field Technician, you’ll be the face of our company in the field, working directly with homeowners during difficult situations, carefully documenting and transporting their belongings, and helping deliver restored items back home.

Compensation:

$18 - $22 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Meet with homeowners to assess and inventory textiles affected by fire or flood, ensuring a compassionate and thorough evaluation.
  • Transport damaged textiles to our warehouse, maintaining careful handling and documentation throughout the process.
  • Coordinate with the restoration team to ensure timely and effective cleaning and repair of textiles, enhancing our service quality.
  • Deliver restored textiles back to homeowners, providing a seamless and reassuring experience.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to expand your skill set and contribute to various roles within the facility.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, building trust and maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory and restoration activities, supporting our commitment to transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For:

  • A clean driving record (required).
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and an illegal drug screen.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to handling homeowners' personal belongings.
  • Compassionate and respectful communication skills — you will be working with people who have just experienced a major loss. This role requires patience.
  • Comfortable with technology (iPads are used for inventory and documentation purposes).
  • Ability to lift and carry bags of clothing and other household textiles.
  • A flexible schedule with reliable transportation to and from our warehouse.
  • Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule for emergency jobs that come in after hours and weekends.
