Job description

The Carpenter's Helper plays a vital role in supporting carpenters on residential construction, renovation, and remodeling projects. Working frequently with small teams of 2 to 4 members and often traveling between job sites, this role involves assisting with material handling, tool preparation, and general site maintenance while adhering closely to safety standards. Moderate supervision is provided, yet independent work and problem-solving are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and organize building materials efficiently
  • Prepare and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
  • Keep job sites clean and safe
  • Assist carpenters with cutting, measuring, and basic carpentry tasks
  • Measure and load/unload materials as required
