Job Title: Sr. TLM Architect or Configuration Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 months + Extendable
Summary of Department Focus:
TLM Reconciliations Product is a third party reconciliation tool developed by Smartstream Technologies. The project involves automation of reconciliation on boarding, testing, release management, maintain and support reconciliation on TLM product for a leading banking and financial institution

To build, maintain and support reconciliations based on Smartstream TLM product for a leading banking and financial institution
Key Responsibilities: % of time
1. Understand the functional requirement and develop the technical specification 15
2. Coordinate with client's BA & PM team to execute the project 10
3. Design, Architect the TLM solutions and enhancement activities on the TLM based reconciliations 40
4. Co-ordinate with offshore teams for requirements clarification, knowledge transition 10
5. Integration testing, whenever required 10

Key Competencies:
• TLM Reconciliation - architectural design and implementation of end to end Reconciliation Technical solutions
• Candidate should have in-depth understanding of reconciliations domain (Cash, Stock, Trade, Position, 3-way, Inter-system etc)
• Design technology solutions to meet business Reconciliation & Business Control requirements
• Work with the business to identify, assess, and document business requirements into Business Requirements Documents, recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs.
• Produce Functional Requirement Specifications detailing the recommended TLM solutions
• Acting as a key engineering resource providing Technical Consultancy to project teams around the bank.
• Management of code development through offshore developers.
• Technical implementations, including some weekend working.
• Provide 3rd line technical support for incident management to assist with troubleshooting where expertise will lead to more rapid business resumption.
• Work in partnership with other Technical Leads to define Recs technical architecture and strategy.
• Create and drive the architectural roadmap for reconciliations across the Bank.
• Ensure that all technology solutions are in alignment with the overall architecture roadmaps while adhering to companywide and engineering board standards.
• Liaise with offshore software testers.
• Liaise with product specialists covering Unix, DBAs, Autosys, Websphere, Weblogic and MQ.
• Keep current with industry trends including architecture design, emerging technologies and best practices.
• Good Knowledge exposure to all the components of TLM Premium (Recon Admin, Smartstudio, TLM Control, Smartschema, Security Admin, Webconnect, Smartrecs)
Desired Skills: UNIX, RDBMS, PL/SQL, Oracle, Java, Application Servers, Perl, Autosys, Reporting Tools, TLM version experience
