Position Overview
The Administrative Coordinator in the Dredging Division provides support to the project site management and the division's personnel department in Covington, LA. This position will be a 17/11 rotation schedule with frequent travel to various project sites.

Responsibilities

Establish and set up a field office for a new project (fully operational)
-
Post and document required signs, federal, and state postings for the job site
-
Prepare 'new hire' & 'rehire' paperwork at project office, administer new hire paperwork.
-
Review weekly 'hourly personnel' payroll and provide support to troubleshoot discrepancies. Submit status change forms to accurately capture employee changes.
-
Prepare and submit weekly project equipment schedule report.
-
Coordinate housing/hotel accommodations for personnel, dockage for crew boat(s)
-
Open various accounts on Weeks Marine's behalf to support the entire project with a varied list of supplies and services i.e. (Rigging, Fuel, Hardware, Auto Parts, Provisions for Dredge & Quarters Barge, Divers, Mechanics etc.)
-
Coordinate equipment rentals i.e. (UTVs, Light Plants, Conex's, Dumpsters, Welding Machines etc..) as directed by the Project Manager
-
Make appropriate and approved purchases with a WMI credit card, and/or utilizing purchasing system for large expensive orders.
-
Coordinate and delegate workload to a site runner if one is assigned to the project. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications

Previous administrative experience preferred, ideally in the construction industry.

Proficient computer skills in standard office software packages, Microsoft Excel

Ability to work a rotational schedule, 17 days on and 11 days off required.

Willingness and ability to travel 100% required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
