The Assembly Manager is responsible for leading and directing all manufacturing operations within Parker Offshore to ensure the efficient, safe, and timely production of high-quality boats. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across all production functions, including assembly, rigging, finishing, scheduling, workforce management, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Assembly Manager is accountable for achieving production targets, improving operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, and developing a high-performing manufacturing team. This position works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Executive Leadership to ensure the success execution of Parker Offshore production goals and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Direct and oversee assembly operations through final boat completion, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery
· Lead, develop, and hold accountable supervisors, leads, and manufacturing team members
· Establish production goals, schedules, staffing plans, and performance metrics to meet business objectives
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, throughput, quality, cost reduction, and operational excellence
· Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Human Resources to ensure seamless production flow and resolve operational challenges
· Monitor and manage production performance, labor utilization, manufacturing costs, and key operational metrics
· Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and craftsmanship
· Support strategic planning, capacity management, workforce development, facility improvements, and future growth initiatives
Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to lead managers, supervisors, and hourly production employees
· Extensive knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, workflow management, and scheduling
· Proven ability to drive productivity improvements, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
· Strong understanding of quality systems, process control, and root cause problem-solving methodologies
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
· Ability to analyze production data, KPIs, labor metrics, and operational reports to make informed business decisions

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies
· Experience with ERP systems, production management software, and Microsoft Office applications
· Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor costs, and manufacturing expenses
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and environmental compliance requirements
· Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and effectively collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Human Resources

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
· Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience
· Proven success managing high-volume production operations
· Experience with boat manufacturing, marine manufacturing, RV manufacturing, transportation equipment or similar industries
· Experience managing multi-department manufacturing facilities
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to regularly walk throughout manufacturing and production areas
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds
· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, fiberglass materials, and varying temperatures
