Job Summary:ย The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and managing digital assembly work instructions using VKS. This role works closely with customer stakeholders, shop floor teams, and offshore resources to ensure accurate, standardized, and user-friendly instructions that support production efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary onsite contact for digital work instruction activities and align with customer priorities and production schedules.
  • Lead the creation, review, and approval of digital assembly work instructions using VKS.
  • Capture shop floor processes through observation, videos, and photos, and document critical steps, tooling, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate with offshore engineering teams, providing clear inputs and feedback to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Conduct review and validation sessions with stakeholders and obtain final approval before releasing instructions to production.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, templates, and best practices while driving continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Background in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering with strong shop floor exposure.
  • Experience in developing assembly/work instructions in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with digital work instruction tools (VKS preferred).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience working with offshore or cross-functional teams.

Qualification

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Engineering (B.E)
