Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience:

  • Power Distribution Electronics Technician I: $25.56 - $47.29/hourly
  • Power Distribution Electronics Technician II: $29.26 - $54.13/hourly
  • Electronic Mechanical Technician: $32.02 - $59.23/hourly
    • An offer of employment with Halliburton does not guarantee employment for any length of time. Actual pay will be discussed and finalized at the time of the offer.
  • Hotel accommodations for 60 days for employees relocating to Fort Lupton, CO area.
  • Schedule:  *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*  
    • Shop: 10 days on/4 days off, occasional travel may be required. 
    • Field: 14 days on/7 days off (rotates day and night shifts), out of town & state travel is required as needed. 
Job Duties
  •  Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
  • Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance.
  • Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
  • Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware.
  • Assist with rig up/rig down of electric frac equipment including making electrical connections (which includes heavy lifting of electrical cables), provides "ready-to-operate" job status to job site supervisor and suspends site operation if safe operation cannot be assured.
  • Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record.
  • This role is responsible for repairs and/or replacement of three phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling.
  • Performs own work and assists others as directed.
  • Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  •  Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.
Qualifications

Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in an electrical field or oilfield operations are required.
  • A Technical Certification is preferred.
  • Compenent level troubleshooting, schematics, electrical theory skills preferred. 
  • Must possess advanced computer literacy.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Previous experience is preferred. 

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Power Distribution Electrical Technician II and Electronic Mechanical Technician.
