Job description

Description
  • Install, maintain, and overhaul compressors, engines, triplex and centrifugal pumps (pneumatic, gas/diesel, or electric)
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on turbine engines as needed
  • Conduct major mechanical overhauls independently
  • Interpret blueprints to confirm specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain compliance with HSE standards and company policies
  • Accurately document daily operations, materials, and costs
  • Identify and mitigate equipment and operational hazards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of mechanic experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Must be Certified to work in H2s environment
  • Clean-shaven
  • Crew change via boat.

Preferred:
  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • 5+ years offshore mechanic experience on a production platform
  • Related training or certifications in mechanical systems
