Job description

Purpose:

Performcrane field service alongside Lead Mechanic, and act as Gulf Crane Services Representative for theCrane Product line.ย ย 

Responsibilities:

Help Inspect,troubleshoot and repair Ball Ring and King Post Mounted Offshore Marine Cranes.Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes-Hydraulic Open Loop Systems. Ability tocompletely overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components. Perform basictroubleshooting and maintenance required on diesel engines. Carry outpreventative maintenance program for offshore cranes. Observe competitiveactivities. Contribute to Gulf Crane Services image and reputation. Manage andmaintain assigned tools and equipment. Complete all paperwork thoroughly and ina timely fashion. Know and understand Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy andcomply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.ย  Perform all other duties as required bySupervisor within the physical constraints of the job alongside Lead Mechanic

Skills: Must have mechanical, hydraulic anddiesel experience.ย  Must know propercrane rigging procedures.ย  Good Drivingrecord. Able to perform tasks independently. Must have thorough knowledge ofAPI spec 2 C, API RP 2 D and API 9 A specifications and practices.ย  Must have own hand tools. Must have generalknowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel applications. ย
