This is a broad, practical role covering office technology, AV, meeting rooms, screening-room operations and editorial/media support. The successful candidate will be the local technical point of contact for employees, production teams, executives and clients, ensuring that the office and its creative spaces operate smoothly and professionally.
The role is ideally suited to someone who understands the creative and technical environment of VFX, film, television or post-production, and who enjoys solving problems, working with people and taking ownership of technical issues from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for the LA office, working alongside the wider DNEG Technology and IT teams.
  • Support office technology including computers, monitors, displays, printers, scanners, meeting-room equipment and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software and general technology issues.
  • Support new starters with workstation and technology setup.
  • Assist with office moves, workstation changes and technology installations.
  • Maintain an inventory of local AV and technology equipment.
  • Liaise with DNEG's central IT/Technology teams and external vendors when issues require escalation.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Ensure meeting rooms and shared technology spaces are maintained and operational.

  • Provide hands-on AV support for meeting rooms, conference rooms and presentation spaces.
  • Set up and operate AV equipment for internal meetings, client presentations, reviews and events.
  • Support video conferencing and hybrid meetings.
  • Troubleshoot audio, video, display, connectivity and conferencing issues.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are tested and ready ahead of important meetings and client visits.
  • Support executive presentations and high-profile meetings.

Screening Room Operations
  • Operate and maintain the DNEG LA screening room and associated projection, playback and audio systems.
  • Prepare, test and QC content for screenings and client reviews.
  • Support screenings for filmmakers, clients, executives and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot playback, projection, audio and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate screening-room requirements with Production, Editorial and Technology teams.
  • Maintain the screening room to a high professional standard.
  • Coordinate with external AV/projection vendors where required.

Editorial & Media Support
  • Provide basic editorial support for internal reviews, presentations and screenings.
  • Prepare, ingest, organize and QC video and image-based content.
  • Perform basic edits, trims, conforms, exports and format conversions.
  • Prepare reels, cuts and review material for screenings and presentations.
  • Work with Production and Editorial teams to ensure the correct versions of content are available.
  • Support media playback and review workflows.
  • Maintain organized media and project files.

Office Events & Client Support
  • Provide technical support for company events, presentations, screenings and client visits.
  • Assist with the technical setup and operation of town halls, presentations and other office events.
  • Work directly with executives, filmmakers, clients and production teams when required.
  • Provide occasional out-of-hours support for screenings, events or important client requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2-5 years' experience in AV, post-production, editorial, office technology or a related technical environment.
  • Strong practical AV and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience operating professional meeting-room and presentation technology.
  • Experience running or supporting a professional screening room.
  • Working knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions and frame rates.
  • Experience with Avid, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar editorial tools.
