Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Equipment Sales, Service, Controls, and Parts businesses to achieve top-line revenue, profitability, and operating income goals
  • Establish annual and long-range business plans for all portions of the business (Sales, Service, Controls, & Parts) including ARI share growth, market segment focus, product mix expectations, value-based propositions, and long-term investment strategies
  • Establish and manage operating budgets, ensuring SG&A/operating expenses align with financial targets
  • Evaluate business unit performance ensuring balanced product line results, market share growth, and adherence to KPIs
  • Drive strategies for operational excellence and continuous improvement across all business units
  • Coordinate relationships between local equipment sales team and service and solutions organizations ensuring "one face to the customer" approach is utilized and the appropriate rules of engagement are followed
  • Partner with corporate and various support groups to secure necessary resources are available to the local office and marketplace
  • Monitor and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends-including pricing, product needs, quality expectations, and territory/account potential-and communicate relevant insights to corporate leadership and local management to inform strategy, training, and resource planning
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to define gross margin expectations and guide the organization in achieving them
  • Support sales activities by ensuring effective use of CRM and maintaining pipeline, backlog, and opportunity management processes
  • Determine the product needs of the marketplace and work with Marketing to establish product development plans, and in conjunction with Daikin Applied's product line, solicit, and secure representation of ancillary products that complement our selling efforts
  • Drive strategies for selling activities through the local Sales Manager to ensure highest probability of closure of each strategic opportunity
  • Lead, coach, and develop the leadership team and broader staff to ensure ongoing development.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to reinforce accountability and effectively manage performance expectations, fostering a work environment that supports professional growth and success
  • Support sales staff to educate and influence Architects and Consultants regarding value that Daikin Applied can bring to assist in producing Green / LEED projects and promote Daikin Applied as an Environmentally Responsible Manufacturer
  • Ensure customer pre- and post-sales support via parts and service groups

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of relevant leadership experience required in commercial HVAC direct sales, parts distribution, and service office management
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required for communicating with customers, coworkers, or vendors as part of essential job functions
  • A full P&L management background, with the ability to balance strategy, operations, and financial performance
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC business, technologies, and product ecosystem (commercial, industrial, service, controls, etc.)
  • A proven leader with a track record of organizational success-someone who builds trust, develops people, and achieves results
  • Strong communication and presentation skills-the ability to connect with people from the field to the boardroom
  • A mindset grounded in integrity, collaboration, and long-term thinking

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,500 to $277,500 plus a targeted sales incentive plan in Florida. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
