Dining Services employees support the daily operations of the campus dining center by preparing and serving food, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. The role requires strong motivation, customer service skills, and the ability to follow simple recipes while working in a fastpaced environment under direct supervision. Staff assist Lead Cooks, stock food lines, and perform cleaning and dishwashing tasks across rotating morning and evening shifts.

Work Unit DescriptionLive and work in a beautiful mountain valley for the summer and/or fall season at the Mountain Campus. Be part of a small community of staff working towards a common goal to serve the Education, Research, and Outreach missions at Colorado State University. Enjoy the mountain lifestyle - hiking, fishing, mountain biking, trail running, rock climbing, or lounging in a hammock witha good book- when you are "off-the-clock".
A few items to be aware ofin regard tothese positions are:
Prepare, serve, and present food according to established recipes, quality standards, and sanitation policies.
Assist Lead Cooks with food production, stocking serving lines, and maintaining an efficient workflow.
Provide friendly, consistent customer service in a busy dining environment.
Perform cleaning and dishwashing tasks, including sanitizing equipment, work areas, and the dining center.
Support limited catering operations by helping with setup, service, and cleanup as assigned.
