Job description

Position Summary

Branch's Civil Division is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our well-established, growing company. The Heavy Duty Truck Driver operates heavy-duty trucks typically designed and used for "off-road" transportation of earth, rock, or other mass or bulk materials. Equipment may be, but not necessarily limited to, a back/rear/end dump or bottom dump.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
  • Routine fueling, lubrication and servicing
  • Cleaning of equipment and work area
  • Operate controls
  • Positioning truck for loading and unloading
  • Dumping/off loading
  • May perform other related duties

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of construction techniques
  • 1 to 3 years of heavy duty truck driving experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • DOT experience preferred, but not required
Compensation Data

Salary Min: $41,674.50

Salary Max: $69,445

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
