As a Mental Health Therapist at our clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients' mental health concerns and establish their treatment needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique challenges, ensuring alignment with their personal goals.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to enhance client outcomes.
• Collaborating efficiently with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize treatment plans for our clients.
• Providing families with education and support to encourage their active participation in the recovery process.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines associated with mental health practice.

Our clinic serves a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Each therapist plays a crucial role in creating tailored therapeutic experiences that respond to the individual needs of our clients.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrable specialized training or extensive experience in the field of mental health counseling.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices for a range of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster client motivation throughout their recovery journey.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with fellow team members.

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or experience with specific populations such as the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, or individuals with substance use disorders will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be a plus.
