Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technician - Level 1 is responsible for assisting the shop productivity through various stages of the production and repair processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use various hand tools, torque wrench, presses, air compressor, hoist, sandblaster, paint gun, grinder, band saw, and other equipment.
  • Operate power tools.
  • Prep products for assembly.
  • Assemble products in various stages of production.
  • Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level.
  • Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process.
  • Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location.
  • General shop responsibilities.
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Experience in forklift operation; ability to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to repeat motions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Follow all safety policies.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
