What is an Odoo functional consultant?

An Odoo Functional Consultant is a professional who specializes in implementing and optimizing Odoo ERP solutions for businesses. They analyze business needs, configure Odoo modules, provide training, and ensure the software aligns with organizational processes. Unlike technical consultants, functional consultants focus on workflow, system configuration, and user adoption rather than coding or development. Their goal is to maximize the value clients get from the Odoo platform.

To thrive as an Odoo Functional Consultant, you need a strong understanding of business processes, functional analysis, and ERP implementation methodologies, often supported by experience or certification in Odoo. These skills ensure smooth project delivery, client satisfaction, and successful ERP system adoption.

What are some common challenges faced by Odoo functional consultants during ERP implementations?
