Job description

What you'll do at DBH:

  • Coordinate and facilitate recovery related groups
  • Educate resident regarding services provided to aid in their recovery
  • Assist resident with Substance Abuse and Mental Illness services
  • Acts as liaison between the resident and staff
  • Relay information to medical doctors/clinicians, client's rights officer, and other necessary staff
  • Conduct presentations and offer technical assistance
  • Provide training to staff on peer service delivery
  • Documentation

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union),ย with a pay range ofย #4ย on theย OCSEAย Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 1st Shift 9:00am-5:30pm. This position is located within ourย 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin atย Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Additional Salary / Appointment Information:

Longevity supplement after 5 years of service.

This position receives a minimum of 17 weekends off per year per the OCSEA union contract.

Requires current certification as Peer Recovery Supporter in accordance with OAC 5122.29.15.ย
