Description:
This role involves caring for patients in a long-term acute care environment.
Registered nurses will be expected to provide high-quality patient care, including TPN, wound care, and administration of medications.
Travelers may be assigned to an emergency team during critical events.
Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and implementing care plans.
A patient ratio of 1:5/6 is expected.
Charting will be done using the Epic system.
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with exceptions for medical or religious reasons.
Candidates must be comfortable with emergency protocols and flexible scheduling.
Special equipment and procedures, including arterial line management and respiratory support, may be part of the daily responsibilities.
Support from interdisciplinary teams will be available.
This position requires effective communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
