Job description

Associate TherapistOakleaf Counseling Services | Part-Time | Marietta/Cobb County, Georgia

Oakleaf Counseling Center is looking for a compassionate, motivated Associate Therapist to join our growing private practice.

We specialize in helping children, teens, and adults navigate ADHD, anxiety, and OCD. We are particularly interested in clinicians who enjoy working with children and adolescents and want to develop strong skills in evidence-based treatment.

Job description
  • Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on your interests and experience
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based interventions
  • Collaborate with parents and families when appropriate
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in consultation and receive support as you grow your clinical skills
  • Build a caseload that aligns with your clinical interests and preferred population
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A provisionally licensed or associate-level clinician in Georgia, or otherwise eligible for the position
  • Warm, compassionate, and comfortable building relationships with clients and families
  • Interested in working with children and/or adolescents
  • Interested in ADHD, anxiety, OCD, executive functioning, or related areas
  • Open to learning evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, ERP, and mindfulness
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Interested in growing within a supportive private-practice environment

Experience with ADHD, OCD, anxiety, ERP, or working with children is a plus, but not required. We are more interested in finding someone who is teachable, clinically curious, and a good fit for our practice.
