Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve a minimum of 75% individual patient care time within the inpatient setting while preparing patients for successful transitions to home or longer-term care environments.
  • Complete all required documentation efficiently, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal quality assurance protocols.
  • Participate actively in therapy team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies that prioritize patient well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing. Candidates must be willing to obtain state licensure before starting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or the ability to obtain this prior to employment.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and ethics.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate within professional guidelines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbally.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
