Expectations:

  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner (point-of-service SOAP notes are encouraged).
  • Notify the Lead OT when resources, evaluations, or protocols need to be ordered.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to collaborative care.
  • Provide scheduled treatment to assigned patients, including all tasks necessary for effective care.
  • Submit treatment charges before leaving the clinic each day.
  • Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
  • Communicate any clinical concerns to the Lead OT.
  • Participate in community outreach and SpOT Clinic social media initiatives.
  • Model and share The SpOT Clinics positive culture and core values with families and the community.
  • Promote open communication, accountability, and teamwork across the clinic.
  • Support clinic leadership, including the Lead OT, Clinic Manager, COO, CFO, and CEO.
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, creativity, and problem-solving skills.



Qualifications:

  • Professional demeanor and conduct at all times.
  • Proficiency with computers and comfort using creative tools and digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools and pediatric treatment strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, personalities, and behaviors.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of occupational therapy practices and a desire for continued growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Alabama license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (or in process).
  • Comfortable using Google Suite professionally.
