Job description

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) with expertise in school-based Telehealth services. This role focuses on providing OT support to 2-3 students in a school setting.
Location: Cumming, GA
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students through telehealth platforms.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to meet student needs.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to enhance student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment approaches based on student response and goals.
  • Support students' development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience providing school-based OT services, specifically via telehealth.
  • Skilled in assessing and addressing pediatric occupational therapy needs.
  • Strong communication abilities to liaise effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 2-3 students.
  • Flexibility to work on a PRN (pro re nata/as needed) basis.
