Part-time
Pay Rate: $19.50
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday & Thursday. Successful candidate to be open to other days as well.

JOB SUMMARY
Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment. This entails; accurate communication and order taking, properly relaying meal orders to back of the house staff. Offer exceptional customer service, as part of all interactions with our cherished residents.

POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Be present in dining room for full meal service.
  • Assist special functions as scheduled.
  • Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times.
  • Oversight of bistro areas as directed - food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc.
  • Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
  • Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
  • Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
  • As directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee.
  • Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
  • Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred but not required.
  • Job Knowledge: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Standards: Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA.
