Job description

Part Time Day Shift - Bethesda North Hospital 

Location: 

10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242

Work Schedule: 

  • Part Time - (48 hours bi-weekly)
  • 7am - 7:30pm 
  • 3rd or 4th Weekend rotation 
  • Holiday rotation 

Job Overview:

As an OB Surgical Tech in the Bethesda North Labor and Delivery Unit, you will perform essential technical skills and provide direct assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room. You will help ensure safe, efficient surgical procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the clinical team throughout labor and delivery cases. In this role, you will also perform similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned, contributing to highquality patient care wherever needed. Your work will support both the clinical team and the families experiencing childbirth, helping create a safe and positive environment during every surgical and obstetric procedure.

Job Requirements:

High School Degree or GED 

OB Surgical Tech Experience - Required

Perinatal: Ability to complete PCA class and unit specific OB OR classes preferred

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates competent performance for the position and knowledge of the unit through understanding of policies/ unit goals/ organizational goals

Pursues educational opportunities related to field of expertise thru internal and external training opportunities

Communicates professionally with team members/customers related to patient care situations 

Works closely with team members to assure that needs of the unit/patient/customers are met
